CME Credit and MOC Points

Attendees can claim CME credits/ABIM MOC points for Internal Medicine Meeting 2024 and Pre-Courses and obtain State CME certificates. Find instructions about how to submit claims below.

Internal Medicine Meeting 2024: Standard and Premium Registration Claim Instructions

Standard registrants will have 30 days to access the Internal Medicine Meeting recordings and claim CME/MOC. The deadline to claim credit is May 21, 2024. This deadline will not be extended.

Premium registrants will have one year to access the Internal Medicine Meeting recordings and claim CME/MOC. The deadline to claim credit is April 25, 2025. This deadline will not be extended.

Step 1: Click the “Claim CME/MOC for Internal Medicine Meeting 2024” button above to claim CME credit until the established deadlines.  Learners may claim CME credits:  

  1. “As-you-go” or,
  2. Make one bulk claim.
    • Claim credit based on the number of hours, rounded to the nearest quarter hour, engaged in education - live sessions, skill center activities, and session recordings. 
    • Please be aware that the maximum total of 195 CME credits assumes learners’ attendance at sessions in all time slots and at Clinical Skills Center activities during breaks and lunches throughout the live meeting, as well as review of all recordings of sessions not attended live.  

If you wish to claim ABIM MOC points, proceed to Step 2 below. 

Step 2: Submit a reflective statement then proceed to Step 3. Learners may claim MOC points:

  

  1. “As-you-go” or,
  2. Make one bulk claim.

Step 3: Upon submitting a written reflective statement, claim your MOC points by entering your first name, last name, date of birth, and ABIM number.

  

Pre-Course Claim Instructions

Deadline to claim CME credits for Pre-Courses: April 17, 2030. Deadline to claim ABIM MOC points for Pre-Courses: December 31, 2026.

Step 1: Click the “Claim CME/MOC for Pre-Courses” button above to claim CME credit until the established deadline. Learners should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. If you wish to claim ABIM MOC points, proceed to Step 2 below. 

Step 2: Submit a written reflective statement then proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Upon submitting a reflective statement, claim your MOC points by entering your first name, last name, date of birth, and ABIM number.

State CME Certificates

Attending Internal Medicine Meeting 2024 is an excellent way to fulfill your state CME re-licensure requirements. A number of sessions meet broad-based state CME requirements, as well as specific content requirements mandated by some states. Contact your state medical board for information on specific requirements in your state.

Successful completion of these CME activities, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn medical knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
