Winning entries in both the National Clinical Vignette and National Research competitions are featured each year at the annual Internal Medicine meeting.
Abstracts are divided into six categories: Clinical Vignette, and Research (The Research competition includes abstracts submitted as Basic Research, Clinical Research, High Value Care, Quality Improvement - Patient Safety, and Physician Well-being and Professional Fulfillment.)
Submission Information
- Submission period: October 1-November 12, 2026 (3:00 PM ET)
- $45 submission fee per abstract
- Multiple submissions are permitted
- ACP membership is required for the submitting author
- Winners will be notified in early February 2027
- Internal Medicine Meeting 2027: April 15-17, Los Angeles, CA
