Health and Safety

ACP is committed to the health and safety of all attendees at the Internal Medicine Meeting 2023. We are actively planning and evolving our on-site protocols to ensure the safest possible experience for attendees and are monitoring CDC guidelines and state and local ordinances. We will continue to review the situation and make necessary on-site adjustments. Please visit this page for the most up-to-date information.

Ventilation and Cleaning at the San Diego Convention Center

The San Diego Convention Center has worked closely with local and federal agencies to enhance the cleaning and prevention protocols and improve the air-flow systems managing the circulation of external and internal air.  Hand sanitizing stations are installed throughout, and the food and beverage providers have earned an additional hygiene verification label, Rise SAFE, that is specifically for catering operations.

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

Up to date COVID-19 vaccination is required of all attendees, presenters, exhibitors, industry supporters and staff on site at the Internal Medicine Meeting. Up to date vaccination means having received a full primary series and a booster dose when eligible, prior to the event. For U.S. residents, acceptable primary series vaccines are Pfizer, Moderna, Novavax or Johnson & Johnson; for individuals living outside of the United States, other primary series vaccines the WHO has indicated meet necessary criteria for safety and efficacy are also accepted.
